So on the 14th of March this year I went to see my doctor about my periods, and after doing a smear test she said she thinks it's Endometriosis. However she couldn't rule of that it could be cancer. So on Monday the 27th I'm going to see a gynaecologist, after making it an urgent matter. The smear test came back with a red circle/ dot on my cervix
She did tests to rule out STD'S and they all came back negative. So now I'm worrying about endometriosis. Because I don't actually know what it is and since I'm only 22 I feel like my chances of having kids is slowly fading out. Even though she mentioned a chance of it being cancer I'm trying to focus more on the other
What can I expect from the gynaecologist appointment? And what does having endometriosis actually mean?
I'm worried about the appointment and would like to know what kind of tests I'm going to do.
