Hi Everyone, sadly, three members of my family have suffered from being diagnosed with cancer, one had since passed away, at quite a young age.  My partner's sister and brother are currently undergoing treatment for breast & bowel cancer.  Whilst this has affected us all greatly, we were deeply saddened by a recent experience that my partner's sister received, whilst trying to purchase a wig, her words were 'I just wanted to feel normal as everything that has happened has made me feel abnormal'.  Unfortunately, the wig supplier took advantage of my partner's sister's vulnerable state of mind, and sold her a very very over-priced and completely unsuitable wig.  With this mind, my partner and I will be starting a new Wig Supply Service in the new year of 2019.  This will be a service with a difference and a tremendous amount of empathy, as we have a mobile Wig Salon that can travel to clients home, with all stock on board, as well as accessories, advice, information, mirrors, colour charts, human hair wigs, we would also be able to provide tea/coffee/drink making and toilet facilities.  Clients can request for us to travel to their own home, or they can travel to us.  Consultations will be made personal and private, with the added extra benefit of being able to walk outside so that they can experience how a wig feels in the open air, as well as ensure that in broad daylight, the colour of their chosen wig is to their satisfaction.  We both have a current DBS.  Our experience: I have worked for a Special Needs School for young people for 17 years and my partner has worked for 6, we have supported all three members of the family with our help, love and dedication in order to meet all of their needs, which we would like to share with other cancer patients.  At the final consultation which will be without cost, we will have a professional mobile hair stylist available to make any alterations that may be required by the client.  Each wig sold will come complete with a free wig stand so that clients can style their chosen wig with ease in the comfort of their home one.  We will be supplying human hair wigs with full lace and a huge selection of colour, style, length and density.  Thank you for taking the time and trouble to read this, and God Bless any of you who are experiencing the affect of cancer whether it is you, your family or friends.
