Hi Jan. My Mum has recently been told they want to try her on weekly Taxol for next 6 months (3 weeks on, 1 week off). She has had 4 previous rounds of 2 drugs, one of which was Taxol and the other may have been carboplatin. Sorry for being sketchy. She has had attempted surgery but now been told her cancer is inoperable. Let me know how you get on please. Best of luck. My Mum was diagnosed in Nov last year. Tough times. 

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have my first of 18 weekly Taxol treatments this Wednesday. Think it's going to be tough but it's amazing what you can cope with when you have to.

I was diagnosed in September 2016, can't believe it's going to be 2 years soon.

Hope you have lots of support around you Jan. So glad my mum has lots support from family and friends. Not got a start date yet. Hopefully soon. Give it your best shot! My mum is truly amazing and so positive.
