Hi there, me too. But I'm not having to wait too long. Saw gp on Friday, they took bloods today, I have a scan tomorrow and an appointment on Friday with gynae consultant. I'm 53 mild pelvic pain and slight brown spotting which has now stopped 

I hope everything goes well for you. Im 53 also, it hard having to wait and see, I live in Ayrshire Scotland and it was put down as Urgent but the waiting time is terrible just now xxx

I'm obviously very very lucky - bloods scan and consultant within a week of seeing gp 

I had blood test, smear and following  week had my scan, the problem is I have thickening of the womb and need to see the gynae to see what is causing it I also have pcos polycystic ovary syndrom which can possibily lead to cancer xx

They tried to do a biopsy on me today. It couldn't get in.

now have to wait a month for hysteroscopy with gen anaesthetic. No obvious tumours but lining thickened , only 8mm so not massive . I've calmed down and less worried now as if cancer it's very early stages. 
do you know what your endometrium thickness is? 

They didnt tell me what the difference was just there was a thickness of the womb. I am glad you can relax a bit better now, it helps when you know what is happening xxx

Im 60, waiting for results, started bleeding 4th Dec adoc couldnt do anything cause it was weekend so saw GP on Monday 7th she sent an urgent referral to gynae and waited for appointment until Monday 11th. Got tests and consultant found something and biopsy taken from womb and I called on Wed, as couldnt sleep, to find out how long results take, in Ayrshire its 4weeks plus. Waiting everytime is the worst.  Hope you get on ok.

I think I will have to contact them again, Im losing weight my 18 trousers used to fit good now they are saggy and sliding down xxx hope all goes well for you xxx

Hi Your right theres nothing wrong with chasing them up. My hubby,whos my carer, was at GP appointment and the doc asked how I had got on at my gynae appointment, and I hadnt got an appointment through yet so he chased them up and I got call 2 days later for an appt 3 days later.  So it could help you by asking them.
