Hi casey, I really know how anxious you are, I've been waiting for 5 weeks for suspected melenoma results and just like you knowing they are back drives you crazy. Until yesterday when I read a post from angie t to someone about 3 months ago, in it she explained that the Dr once she has read the results then has to speak with a team of professionals called multi displinary team to discuss the results. They do this regardless of a good  or bad result to decide the next course of action which could be discharge because all good or best treatment if not. I found it really helpful to learn this info yesterday and have felt much calmer since. Hope this helps Good luck let me know how you get on

wow 5 weeks :( so sorry you have waited so long, can't even imagine. Really hope you hear something soon and get some positive news x 

Thankyou, it has been tough but am now much calmer and a much more positive attitude. I think being on here has helped massively just having people who understand and are ready to listen and help you make sense of it all. Take care love hope all goes well for you. Keep me updated xx
