Hi! I’m also waiting for the results of a biopsy taken on Thursday. It’s the worst waiting game ever! My lump doesn’t sound similar to yours but just wanted to say hi and I’m in the same boat as you I’ve got an appointment for Monday the 29th for the results and the breast nurse said if we don’t need to see you, we’ll call you before that. So I’m now stressing that if it’s not cancelled, it’s bad news fingers crossed for you xx

Hello. I'm also waiting for biopsy results i went Wednesday with lump in my left breast  I go back Monday 22nd so quiet quick  I understand how you feel with waiting  My husband says try and think of something else  But that's impossible  I hope you get goods new x

We had a few days away booked which weve still gone on but its so hard to be all cheerful when theres such a lot going through your mind. Let's hope we both have a lucky monday. Is your lump similar? X

It's on the underside an they said at clinic it's about 5cm they took a sample of fluid twice as didn't get enough 1st go. It's been leaking up until today. I've also got gallbladder problems so I'm waiting to have that removed. It never rains but it pours as they say. I hope we all get positive results x

Yeah that’s what I thought! You can wind yourself up thinking about all the little things that were said, the glances etc. mine is more of a large mass rather than I lump I guess. It’s very visible, sticks out, so not feeling too attractive I thought it was similar to what I had back in 2016 when I panicked and went private coz I couldn’t wait for the NHS. It was fluid that time so because it’s in the same area I didn’t panic this time and was maybe too laid back. Thought I was just going in to get it drained again but they said it’s not fluid, it’s a very dense mass and they wanted to do a biopsy there and then. So obviously freaking out and kind of prepared myself for the worst. I hope you’re managing to keep busy, doesn’t take your mind off it for long but does help a bit. When do you get your results? Xx

Hey, I get mine monday but its afternoon which will be agonising! Goodness, you're on your second scare then! Let's hope this ends the same for you! You can Google yourself into despair so trying to stay off that. I keep convincing myself itll be benign but I convinced myself it was a cyst and last monday they blew that out the water and took a biopsy. I'm ready for a fight but it's the not knowing that's killing me. The worst is in the night, I'm not sleeping. Have you got good support round you? 

My lump doesn't seem to move when I touch it and can tell it's not smooth which they told me it was suspicious coz it was lumpy...... this is how they describe a malignant one so I'm *** it!

Oh you don’t have long to wait now and hopefully that’ll be it all over for you and you can get back to normality. I have everything crossed for you. I suppose we need to bear in mind most do come back with nothing wrong but keeping hopeful is hard, and yeah the not knowing is torture. 

Aw that’s not good you’re not sleeping. Everything is ten times worse at night too. Do you have kids? I’ve not said anything to anyone close to me. Keeping it to myself until I know exactly what’s going on.  

Yeah got an 18month old so shes keeping me busy  you? My nearest n dearest know, my mum would know straight away something was up! But I try not to keep talking to anyone about it other than my husband. The odds are in our favour but you could end up being the one just as much as not ! X good luck for your results chick
