Hi I’m new to the forum and a little unsure of everything. Last week I was at my dermatologist for two moles on my toes. He was unsure of them but said because they were awkward to get to he would photograph them for analysis. And asked if I had any others . I showed the one on my back and he decided to remove it straight away as it was very ‘striking’ internal stitches and 9 exterior stitches later it was done. He booked me back in for 6 weeks time and was sent on my way. So will I find out in 6 weeks about my results ? Or will I find out sooner if something comes back? It was all quite a shock and I didn’t think to ask at the time? Everyone keeps teling me that I would have heard back by now if it was bad news but I’m not so sure?
