Firstly you are not alone. There are lots of us here, many having been where you are now. Scared is ok too. We’ve been there too. It is scary because fast track in our minds spells danger. But that’s not always true. Fast track means let’s have a look and if it’s somethinfg serious we can deal with it early. Thickened womb lining can be caused by lots of things other than cancer. However if they find cancer, there is plenty that can be done.

i was diagnosed with endometrial ( womb) cancer in April this year, after an abnormal bleed. They found my lining was thicker than usual but also detected cancer cells after biopsy. It was a huge shock and I thought I’d never get over it...but I have. I’ve had a hysterectomy, pelvic lymph nodes removed and tested and three sessions of internal radiotherapy. I go for my treatment follow up next week. I’ve just had a lovely two weeks cruising in the sun and feel fit and well, if sometimes a little tired. I’m me again! 

So don’t think the worst but if it is cancer, the medics have found it early and can deal with it. Be prepared for things to happen quickly but time to slow down. It’s usual. Let yourself be scared and to worry but try not to let it take over your life. Keep busy with things you love to do and people you love to be with

Thank you for replying to me I pulled up my girly pants and got on with it but it's still nerve wreaking isn't it. Went for my biopsy and I'm waiting for those results now x
