Waiting Biospy results - sorry for the long post

Hi,

I found a lump 10 days ago and was sent to the breast clinic.  My doctor suspected a cyst but wanted to get it checked.  I had my appointment on Wednesday.  The initial consultant said it felt like a cyst and scanned it.  I then got sent for another ultrasound and a mammogram.  Followed by another ultrasound and a biospy where they left markers in my breasts on the two different areas.  I can only feel one. I was then sent for another mammogram to make sure they had taken from the correct areas.  I went back to the inital consultant who explained that they have found what they think is abnormal and they have done a biospy to confirm or rule out Cancer.  He was extremely mattter of fact.  I then had to spend 40 minutes with my specialist nurse going through what will happen if its cancer, and they feel it is early and only stage 1.  I cant really remember what else she said as my then i was a wreak.  I have baby twins and older children.  I was so convinced it was cyst and I would be in and out I didnt take anyone with me.

I have been fast tracked and get my results this Thursday.  The reason for my post is other people stories.  I have convinced myself its cancer, which I will deal with and fight back but its the waiting I'm struggling with.  I'm super organised and feel i can't plan anything as its not been confirmed.

Has anyone else had a similar trail of events and its not been cancer?

Thanks
