Not a medic, but know they will want to know more. CT and MRI allows them to check for any spread. If there is spread they may decide to do chemo to tackle metastases before performing surgery, for example. The NHS is really good. If they are satisfied with waiting a month before surgery, you can be happy with that as well. Good luck. Harry
