Only your consultant will be able to tell about the possibilty of colon cancer, so make sure you go through all your concerns, including a scan to the right your colon,  in your upcoming appointment. I hope it goes ok.

Thank you. Just wonder if anyone else has just been told or found out about similar and the process they going or went through. Ie scan consultants ct scan etc? 

I had a similar result too I'm 28 and had a polyp removed during a sidmoidoscopy and it was precancerous and same as you low grade. 

I'm waiting now for a full colonoscopy, how have you got on? Have you had any answers yet? 

I also think it's more common for polyps to be in the lower part of your bowel so as they enter I think the right side is.more rare.

Did you go for sedation for the procedure you had ? 

I have the same as both of yous.I have had numerous polyps removed and one witch was 3cm and grew back and had to be removed again.I was put on a 3 month watch list by the hospital to come back and have another check up,but due to a computer error,i have been left for over a year.I have all the same problems again and i just feel so angry that the hospital can be so careless.I am now waiting on an emergency colonoscopy.God knows what this will show up after all this time.

That sounds awful, I do hope you get seen to quickly.

After my last scan I have had numerous tests which found no more polyps but I will be checked every 5 years now so I imagije when you get this test done you will be put on regular checks.

Keep us updated with your results, I know how horrendous this waiting is but at least you are on top of it and keep chasing it up.

Mine symptoms have been put down to ibs now and I recently cut meat from my diet and ever since I have had no more pain.

I stillmworry about polyps coming back but if they are low grade like this post they tend to be less aggressive and at least.now days we can get them removed.
