My husband had a gasterectomy last June followed by 6 mins thd treatment of chemo and radiotherapy which finished on December. He had his scan etc in February and all was clear. One thing is bothering me though, he still has problems and discomfort with the osopfogus, when swallowing , especially liquids. Does anyone who has had this type of cancer op know if this is normal? He has his next oncology appointment end of April. Many thanks everyone .
