Hi I'm buddyanne and I am three years on from my tongue cancer, I too have had a good part of my tongue removed, the biggest after effect I have is a lisp as I have no tip to my tongue and some people who don't know me won't make the effort to understand me which is hurtful, that makes me sad. But mostly I'm just glad to be here and the people at my oral clinic are super. I'm sorry you got this at such a young age it's easier to cope with I think when you are old like me lol x
