Throat inflammation, symptoms continuing despite all clear

A bit of background on my situation. I've been having problems with my throat for around 18 months now. Pain in the left of my throat neck pain and a strange pain in my ear left side only. I saw my GP who referred me for 2 week cancer pathway and saw oncologist. I've had a CT scan MRI, panendoscopy and biopsies taken. After a worrying wait I was relieved to be told there was no cancer found. The diagnosis was inflammation. I went back to see oncologist 4 months later in November 22 he examined my neck and said he was happy to discharge me. I am still getting the same symptoms now and was wondering if anyone has or is in a similar situation. Thank you in advance
