Swollen lymph nodes all over body.

Hey,

just coming on here out of desperation really after being absolutely fobbed off by my doctors surgery over and over. I am a perfectly healthy 28 Year old active female with no other health conditions. Noticed a swollen lymph node each side of my groin a couple of weeks ago and chose to ignore it. 4 days later I notice them in my jaw, armpit, neck, more in my groin, collar bones. Rang my GP who said 'worry when they're the size of golf balls' over the phone. Didn't see me or examine me so again, chose to forget about them. Two days later the ones in my arm pit are over an inch  and now spreading down my arm. Two days later the other armpit is the same. They still refuse to examine me. I am extremely tired and struggling to manage in work. Can someone please advise me what to do? I know when I'm not well, Im Usually extremely active. Blood tests with a nurse came back normal but my lymph nodes continue to grow.

Maybe not related but I was in the doctors 6 weeks ago with breast pain (breast implants)

any info would really help. Thank you for taking your time to read this!

  • Hello Mia,

I think it would be worth getting in touch with your GP again and mentioning that this is really affecting you and you are feeling extremely tired. You could try and insist that you would like to be seen as this is really worrying you. You can also find out how to get a second opinion on this page

I hope you manage to get some answers on this very soon!

  • I don't understand why Some gp act like that. I have a very small one in my ground and I'm having my ultrasound tomorrow at 2. Gp gave me over the phone an urgent referal and othe tests done like bloods etc. Maybe try a different one? I hope you're ok tho

  • If you can do an e-consultant. I did this and obviously because I hadn't said how big and described I was tired, the doctors were like come in asap and get bloods done. I think just push and push. If possible request another doctor to see you maybe??
