Stomach Cancer

My lovely father in law has been losing weight for about 6 months now. After a number of test and an endoscopy yesterday  (13th July) the doctors have said it is stomach cancer.  We are waiting to hear how progressive it and fingers crossed it should be next week.

My father in law turned 89 years young in June and,  because of the massive weight loss,  the doctors are not sure if he can survive the surgery if that is an option. Before this, both my father in law  and mother in law went balloon dancing 3 times a week. They also ran a tea dance which sadly, they have had to give up. We are all devastated.

Not sure what help is out there if he needs medical care. Of course we as a family will be there to support them both with all the love and practical things. We want to hope for the best but, prepare for the worst.
