  • Good evening My fella aged 43 was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. Inoperable and on the palliative chemo regime. 6 months of chemo. So far it's clearly working as he Can now swallow food again since last October we just pray it keeps shrinking it!!! We have two boys 9. & 8 yrs xxx

  • Hello,

    how is your fella doing?

i have two very young children and have been told I’m palliative. I’m looking into trials abroad for surgery... doctors say my quality of life will be better if I stick to uk chemo. What do you think about palliative chemo? Do you think it would be a better option than gastrectomy and HIPEC?

    al good wishes

  • Hello

If you can try to get referred to a specialist in the Christie foundation trust hospital. They have specialists that would help you hopefully. You may also benefit from clinical trials that on offer there.
