Well it didn't snow, the sun came out and hubby well enough to drive us, country route so we miss any delays on the motorway.  Arrive and find drive dug up and Bob cats and diggers in the way, we make everyone move them because hubby can't manage  mud and cobbles!  Everyone happy to see him looking better, give sister in law her birthday flowers, and then spot an even bigger bunch on the work top, plus flowers in a vase on the table, flower overload,  glad I took an antihistamine!  Lovely afternoon,  good food wine, chocolate birthday cake and ball games,   typical summer afternoon.   Back home with a daughter and granddaughter in tow, hubby very happy but tired.  There is light at the end of the tunnel.
