Stage 4B gastroesophageal carcinoma

Hi, My uncle is suffering from stage 4 primary adenocarcinoma of esophagus,, biopsy shows cells are poorly differentiated,, and have metastasized to stomach, liver and nodes.. I know hope is less,, but still is there any possiblity of treatment antwhere around the world to prolong his life?

  • Hello Nayla,

I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis that your Uncle has been given. It's understandable that you as his family would want to make sure that all treatment options have been explored.

The best person to speak to about any options for treatment abroad or clinical trials would be your Uncle's consultant. However if you'd like to speak to one of our team of nurses then you would be welcome to call them. They're available on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).

    Sending best wishes,
