Stage 4 colon cancer

Hi Everyone,

My mum has just being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and they've given her a year to live. The cancer has spread to the liver. Today she has a consultation with the oncologist. What should I expect. My mum means the world to me.

    I'm sorry no-one was able to reply to you before your mum went for her consultation with the oncologist the other day. I'm not sure if you went with here but I hope it went well and that any questions you both may have had about her situation were answered.

    We have some information about colon cancer on our website but feel free to give our cancer nurses a call if any other questions spring to mind. Their lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on 0808 800 4040.

    Hi I'm sorry I didn't see your post before now and I hope things went as well as they could for you and your mum.

    My partner was diagnosed a month ago with stage 4 colon cancer, you are always more than welcome to message me if you need someone to talk to. Xx
