Hiya, my friend is 37 years old and has been diagnosed with grade 4 brain cancer. She had a grade 3 brain tumour taken out 6 years ago and then had a 6/7 weeks course of radiotherapy. She was told this was the type of tumour that would always come back. 2 weeks ago she had the same operation as last time. I was with her when she got her results last Wednesday and she was told she now has grade 4. They were unable to remove all of the tumour. It has came back in the same place but is a different type of tumour. I am unsure as to what kind as we were all in total shock. They have said it is very fast growing and very aggressive. I am going with her on Tuesday to see her consultant and am just wondering If anyone could help us as to what to expect. Will they give her chemotherapy/ more radiotherapy? Any answers would be really helpful. Thank you x
