Stage 1 breast cancer

Got my biopsy results back  today .. been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer... Have been reassured that it is very early stage and completely treatable.. appointment on Friday for chest x-ray, bloods and to discuss treatment plan ... Not sure how to feel ...  Looking forward for advice on how tell my daughter who has just had her first child .. know she'll be upset and feel she has enough on her plate with a new born to care for ... More concerned about her than I am about myself..

    You'll find many members here have gone through a range of emotions upon being told they have cancer, so not knowing how to feel is perfectly normal, and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and hopefully provide you with some advice on how to broach the subject with your daughter.

    I hope your appointment went well today and I wish you all the best for the next stage of your cancer journey.
