Someone help me with some advice

Hey guys,

my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago and beat it so for what we thought. about a month ago we found out it has came back in her bone marrow i have just recently been told that she will die to this cancer and they dont know how long she may have. I am struggling to do anything without thinking about it and start breaking down have you guys got any tips on how to get over this?

  • Hiya

no. There's no answers to get over it. But I can say you just get on with it. You have too. You have two choices...fight or don't!!

we have two young boys and so we have only one choice. TO FIGHT

  • Hi Dylan,

Cancer is a t***. Big hugs to you and your Mum.

I've been posting everything I am feeling since my nan's terminal diagnosis. Found out on Thursday she has a few months.

A horrible thing is that people automatically think "so what it's your Nan" but my Nan is my legal guardian and brought me up, when she goes there is no one left, I'll actually be an orphan and that feels so lonely.

I would suggest you have all the hard conversations. You have lots of big fat cries, you talk about Fun times, and her who she wants to see in the time she has left, what she wants to do and do it. make some memories and prepare.

Remember,  the palliative care team will make her feel well,  no pain or suffering and will help with advice and support for you and her.
