Soft tissue sarcoma of the left thigh.

my husband has a undiagnosed sarcoma of the left thigh, it’s grown so fast in a couple of months. He was doing a bike challenge in July this year for cancer research with a so called pulled muscle or so the hospital said, but it wasn’t and now we are here with him in hospital having surgery to remove all they can from his thigh muscles and hopefully remove all the cancer. I’m so angry. He already has cll and they just thought it was that starting to cause problems. But no, I’m really not happy. He’s in so much pain and he’s not one to say anything if he is but he’s crying out with it. We’ve a young daughter and she just doesn’t understand why dads leg isn’t getting better and it’s upsetting her. I’m just so tired and emotionally exhausted I don’t know what day it is. Sorry to rant but I feel so mad.

I know there's nothing that I can particularly say at the moment that might helpful but please know you're welcome to post here anytime you feel you want to rant, offload, ask questions or talk to others who may understand.

We do also have a team of nurses that you can call to talk to on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) if you thing it might help.
