So lost

My Uncle, who has been a Dad to me, was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer on 17 July. He was admitted to hospital and put on Dexamethasone (steriods) to try and bring down the swelling around the tumor. He was discharged on the 27th, his 73rd birthday and his and my Auntie's 38th wedding anniversary.

They tried to do a lung biopsy last week but had to abort it due to my Uncle not being able to ease his breathing and because the tumor is so close to his heart, they deemed it not safe to perform the biopsy.

We had an appointment with the Oncologist yesterday and sadly they have said that my Uncle is too weak to receive any treatment.

My Uncle can not stand up without any help, walk too far, can't get to the toilet, get in and out of bed...

We need help, we rang social services but the said that they have put my Uncles information through and will get back to us. I have read it could take up to 4 weeks. We can't managed that long. We desperately need help.

Any suggestions of what our next steps should be would be greatly appreciated.
