Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in March 2018. I had an ileostomy followed by 4 rounds of chemo, followed by chemo radiation for 5 weeks prior to having a low anterior resection, when my tumour and all of my rectum was removed. I then had 4 more cycles of chemo which finished in March this year. Two months later, I’m feeling well apart from feeling really achey all over. My hips and hands are worst. I can’t get my wedding ring on in the morning and I struggle to curl my fingers first thing in the mornings. I also seem to seize up if I sit down for too long. I didn’t have this during my treatment. Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondered if it’s normal or if I should be worried?
