I took mine off completely on day 9. It was heqven!

Did you pull the steristrips off too? I've given them a little tug but their not budging and I'm scared to pull too hard.

Yes. Took them all off altho as I’m a big wuss I sat down to take the steristrips off. Dab them with some tepid water and they might start to loosen. 

I had mine on for 10 days, had them removed by nurses who cleaned the wounds then put new dressings on and told to keep them on for another week. After that I was free to shower.

The second op I kept them on for 9 days, got them off and re dressed with waterproof dressings which allowed me to shower.

Thanks. I've took everything off now, looks ok. My next appointment after the op is nearly 3 weeks. So I was pretty much left to my own devices.

My breast nurse wasn’t interested, think she thought it beneath her so I went to my local clinic instead. The nurses there were fab. I didn’t want to do it myself as I wanted the wound checked and redressed. I was given loads of dressings away with me so I can redress the wounds whenever I wanted to thereafter. Glad everything is okay with yours.
