My 26 year old daughter was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer this week and we are waiting for her to have an MRI appointment next week to find out whether it has spread and what treatment she needs. I want to be there with her every step of the way, but have a weeks holiday booked next week. My daughter has said to go, but I feel torn between needing time out before the storm and feeling selfish about it to.
