Should I be worried/ bother GP?

Afternoon

I am growing concerned on my health and don't know whether I am over fretting.

I've had worsening fatigue over the last two months to the point where I feel sapped of energy by the time I start work. I had a blood test thinking it was vitamin or iron but all was normal. I've stopped going to the gym, feel wiped by lunch and early nights are getting earlier.

Couple of months ago an ultrasound found lymph nodes, I've got a new scan next week.

I've been sweating at might like I've finished the gym, been feeling itchy, had chest pressure last few weeks.

Today I felt off and was so flushed in the face I was asked numerous times if I was okay.

I don't know if I'm run down and over fretting about lymph nodes or worrying the right amount.

Does anything sound familiar?

  • My husband had a lump in his neck and was constantly asked about night time sweating - but he always feels hot so wouldnt notice the difference. Unless the radiologist changes his mind again (he did after the first scan so had a second) we expect a letter anytime  now saying a swollen lymph node.

You ask if you should bother your gp - yes, but if you are having scans I guess you've done that. As for finding lymph nodes - we all have lots of them so what exactly have they found? They swell if you get an infection then go back down later on.

Are you losing weight? The night time sweats are not good but fatigue can be caused by a multitude of things. The  combination needs some nvestigation but isnt something to panic about yet.

Very few of us get enough vitamin D bewteen October and March, a small supplement may help you feel better.
