I have HCC liver cancer and have been suffering from the same thing so much nearly scratching my skin off it would do this day and night, so much so I got to stage I had enough and doctor prescribed some medication, I can't remember the name it's similar to antihistamines, so go go there are things that can help. i am 2.5 years out of treatment for tongue cancer and six months prior to diagnosis suffered with really bad itching....initially it was my feet and hands, but it ended up everywhere

even though I am now post treatment I still get episodes of it, not as often or severe

mine is easily kept at bay by citirizine it's an anti histamine which you will get free from you doctor

although they is no such study, doctors are aware that there is a link between itching and cancer, but just don't know why
