Secondary Liver cancer stage 4

Hi have just got out of hospital as i had a temperature on the first night. On the second and third night no infection found but was still very cold. Just wondering if chemo make you feel cold as the doc suggested. When I was young I was always bundled in clothes and felt cold all the time. Also had Reynaulds syndrome most of my life. Then the menopause came and changed all that!

However just had my second round of chemo and I'm freezing again.

Im  having Gemcabotine . I'm constantly taking my temperature in case it's raised and driving myself nuts!!

Any help appreciated

  • Hi 747,

Unfortunately I'm not aware of how the treatment can affect your temperature. The best thing would be to discuss this with your doctor who can advise specifically to you.

If you'd like to speak with our nurses, you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

    Wishing you all the best,
