I'm also waiting for bloods and just so worried and anxious.  How long have you had your symptoms?

Hi, a couple of months but kept brushing it off as nothing, I only contacted my doctor last week and it scared me more how quickly she reacted and got all the tests booked in. The symptoms have got worse over the past week.

Looking back, my symptoms started end of last year and i didn't pay much attention until last month when they became more obvious.  The waiting is horrible - here goes another sleepless night.  My husband is wonderful but tells me not to jump to conclusions until i have all the facts ... easier said than done though :(.  I hope you get your results very soon xx

Hi guys, 

I had a chest X-ray for a cough a couple of weeks ago and I got a call last Wednesday to say they found an abnormal shadow near my heart, possibly enlarged lymph nodes. 
 

Fortunately before hearing this news, I don't believe I have any obvious symptoms as felt generally pretty well but like you, I have been in absolute despair since I had my results for the X-ray and just had a chest CT scan today so another week of an agonising wait! 
 

Trying to stay positive but my brain can only think of the worst case scenario and the anxiety I've been experiencing this last week is actually starting to make me feel ill now. Obsessively poking and prodding every inch of my body and if I feel any slight lump or tenderness I'm freaking out!
 

I had bloods done on Thursday and they came back fairly normal though.

I agree, don't know what I'd do without my hubby but it doesn't stop you thinking the worst does it. Take care & fingers crossed for good news for you xx

The worst thing is the not knowing. Like you the anxiety is really getting to me. The combination of the pain, itching and worrying is stopping me sleeping. It's my birthday in 2 weeks, I'll be 57 and pretty sure all my tests results will come back a couple of days before that. Hopefully good news!!

I had my chest xray which was clear. Since then a lump has appeared on my neck. I have had a second lot of blood tests but all I have been told so far is I have kidney damage. My GP did an Urgent referral after looking at the lump & getting the bloods back.

So tomorrow I have a scan, biopsy & more bloods.

My itching is still constant, I have extreme fatigue and my neck, collarbones, arms & armpits ache, it's like a burning sensation. I now also have abdominal pain, bouts of diarrhoea and have lost half a stone in 3 wks.

My fingers are crossed for good news but the longer it goes on the less positive I feel
