Six months after being told I seemed to be cancer free having survived Stage 4 Cancer of the Oesophagus, I’m now awaiting a Gastroscopy next week following a referral because of possible bowel cancer symptons.
I’m feeling surprisingly upbeat about this as I know the vast majority of such referrals rule cancer out. I have also had ulcerative colitis as a long term condition for 30 years on and off and the symptoms can be similar.
Even so, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a negative report!
