My 80 year old step mum has just been diagnosed with incurable stage 4 bowel cancer and has just undergone surgery.

She's been living in Florida for about 8 years but has realised she needs to come back to the UK for the time she has left.

She has no property or blood family and I'm just looking for advice or guidance on how we would get a care home sorted out so she could go straight from the airport to a care home or hospital. 

Will her US doctors need to refer her in advance?

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
