I'm sorry you are going through such a worrying time. The one thing that struck me is you had these scans a week ago and no one has been in contact. I always thought if something bad showed up they would be on the case straight away. Maybe I'm wrong but even when I have a blood test out of range I get a text within 48 hours saying to call for an appointment. How long did you wait for your CT scan results?

I rang the consultant an hour ago and they haven't received the report from the radiologist yet, So I'm not sure what to think. 
I waited 14 days for the CT results. I rang them 14 days after the CT scan and my consultant rang me back within the hour. 
I don't know what to think..I'm thinking positive because they've not rushed to tell me anything and negative that they've found something and are planning the next step. 

Hi chery, it doesn't matter weather its good or bad results it takes same time to check scan over properly, and that depends how busy it is.

14 days for results from a CT scan that showed rumours doesn't fill me with reassurance ! My hubby has to have a CT scan tomorrow, I was hoping we'd have answers next week?

i think all you can do is keep chasing the consultants , the waiting is really hard as your mind works overtime !

Wow 14 days! Like Billy said these things can take time but I've never heard of a scan not being reported on a week later. Usually it's done within a few days. I had an MRI last week and I had results 24 hours later. I know all hospitals are different and it depends on how busy they are but you had something show up on a previous scan so surely you are high priority. 

I'll assume they're busy. It's only been a week now since the Nuclear Bone and Spect-CT Scan, But the radiologist hasn't written the report on it yet. I'm going to ring Friday and see if I can usher things along. It's all the waiting and not knowing

Its my understanding that if a radiologist sees something they report on it straight away and it gets flagged up. If I have any tests and don't hear within a week I feel confident that nothing has shown up but I'm realising that doesn't always happen since you waited 2 weeks last time. Wish I could be of some help
