Removal of one lung

What to expect an how /what you can / can't do after

  • I'm not really sure what you'll be able to do Samted but all i can suggest is to listen to your body, it will keep you right. I found some information  on site  https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/lung-cancer/treatment/surgery/after-surgery   about after surgery.

I know the hospital i am going to has a video on their website about your whole surgery journey, before, during and after, perhaps your hospital has something similar.

I found some audio leaflets for you  [video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbRK-cAc7Oo&list=PLbOIe9yQFiSFx1ArfwTGZ7T61j_wWTzXo&index=5] , in leaflet number 2 if you skip to about 8 minutes or so then it gives you a rough idea of when you can start to do things and what things you can do, hopefully you might find it helpful. probably worth while listening to the whole video though.

Wishing you all the best for your upcoming op. x
