I have just been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer that requires a mastectomy and I've been offered a partial reconstruction at the same time. I would welcome any advice please. I'm still quite shocked.
Hi Kano. Two years ago I had a mastectomy and diep flap at the same time. I would have it done at same time as afterwards you may not feel lie going for another op. Regards
Hi I had a mastectomy 7 years ago and could not have reconstruction at the same time as had to have radiotherapy but know wish I had had it done mine was stage 3 was 59at the time so I would go for it good luck best wishes pat s
