Hi.  I have a beanie that I bought from Amazon which is made of bamboo.  It’s soft and easy to wear.  Well worth a go.  It wasn’t expensive and washes well! 

I am using the cold cap but although not all my hair has fallen out, it looks pretty terrible!  I think it helps with the regrowth too.

I've now purchased (too impatient by far!), went with hats4heads, I've heard good things about bamboo but , apart from Amazon couldn't readily see any other places before I lost the will to live.

As I have a strong belief that one day Amazon will actually take over the world retail-wise I make a point of avoiding them, and if they don't I'm willing to buy everyone a cheap treat from them as am stood at the pearly gates.

Jep-am too doing cold cap but I have low expectations, especially when it comes to my taxol time, if they're exceeded then happy days and I can go crazy, celebrate and have a ritual burning of the chemo caps, am sure the ozone layer will forgive me.

Billy - you're right and if my head wasn't blummin' huge and I didn't have a large slap-head forehead (hence current sizeable fringe) and I was confident I'd rock a good bald, like say sinhead O'C then no problem but its not to be plus I'll be doing chemo till Jan so will get a bit chilly without my current mullet so needs must.  I will however be very interested how I look bald..

Don't forget the photos, or you can get car under seal it's thick and waterproof you can stick feathers in it that'll look nicer, have you been to that do yet, best wishes... Billy
