I was so sorry to read this. Life can be so unfair at times. During the time I have been chatting to you, you have befriended and supported so many people and it upsets me that lovely people like yourself are made to suffer from the ravages of this evil disease. My own mathers breast cancer spread to her brain and I know how scary this was for her.

Hi Max, I am sending the biggest virtual hug to you and you family. Think "Mr Man" with the long wiggly arms that will go all the way round you all. If you don't get dozens of posts today it is only because all those people you have inspired and kept going will be lost for the right words to say. There is often debate about whether it is "better" to make one's exit with something like C or the quick sudden shock of an accident or massive stroke or heart attack. Having experienced both losses - as the surviving partner the memories you can make as a couple / family even when going through the tough times are absolutely priceless. To say the least you will be passing to your family  the most amazing demonstration of courage, strength and love that a Mum / Wife can achieve . In short - an inspiration of how to squeeze the most out of this tough old job called life. Maybe like a diamond - not huge quantity but amazing quality. luv sueps...x

Oh Max, what can I say? The tears are streaming down my face. I wish I could be close to you to give you a major hug. Just know that you are in my heart and my prayers. Take the best care of yourself and you know that all of us here on the forum are keeping you in our thoughts. I guess you have heard the words that we continue to dread hearing some day, but know some of us likely will.
