I had a biobsy 15th of November. Received a letter 2 weeks later explaining what I had done at hospital. Then 2 days later Received an electronic letter saying they've made me appointment for 13th of December. A bit nervous
You don't say what kind of biopsy you had or why. I can understand why you are nervous, having been in your shoes (biopsies for breast cancer). In this situation, one can go one of two ways: worry for the next ten days only to be given the all clear, or take the view that there's no point worrying until there is something definite to worry about. You might be causing yourself needless stress and anxiety, which won't change the outcome anyway. However you manage to cope with the next ten days, I wish you well and I'm really hoping you get good news on the 13th. Take care. Amy
Hi, having had biopsies as well I completely understand and sympathise with you and how you're feeling at the moment. The waiting is horrible and it seems to really drag on. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know, but worrying will solve nothing and just make you feel worse. When I'm waiting for things I try to keep busy, get lost in a good book, watch a fun light hearted movie, and things like that. Distracting yourself and keeping busy is the best thing. It will make your anxiety less.
