Radiothery and Chemo tabs

My Husband is starting radiotherapy along with chemo tabs for 5 week from Monday.  He has rectum cancer and a nodule/lesion has been found on the lung and now the liver.  It has changed everything. Due to the tumour in the bowel he has had a colostomy bag fitted 3 weeks ago.  I am worried stiff and wondered how others are coping?  What side effects may arise and how do you deal with them?

    Unfortunately I can't advise on your question, although do make sure you discuss any questions or worries with your husband's doctor. It's important that you have the appropriate information to help your situation.
