I am sorry to hear you have been suffering from radiation muscle atrophy. It must be painful to have to deal with neck and upper back pain and I hope you can find an adequate pain killer to relieve it. It might be worth you mentioning to your doctor that co-codamol is not working for you and they may be able to suggest some suitable alternatives.

Lucie, Thankyou for your reply, I did mention the increase in pain to my Doctor and he upped me to Tramadol 50mg X 8 a day. Unfortunately I actually seem to be worse on this I am really struggling with any effort at all even quite short walks. I aim to ring your free phone number tomorrow as today is bank holiday.
