PSA started to rise, if not reduced am I at risk of cancer?

In the last year, my PSA has started to rise. And the urologist said I had an enlarged prostate and prescribed regen50 capsules to reduce PSA. My question is, if I don’t reduce my PSA is there a possibility of cancer? Because I am known for not being regular when using capsules.

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Roney.66.

I can appreciate why you're concerned about your PSA levels, but in this case, it would be best to speak with medically trained professional like your urologist the next time you have a chance.

Having said that, there is some general information on the PSA test and levels in our website and to read more about it, please click here.

Also, feel free to give our team of cancer nurses a call and ask for their opinion. They're available on this phone number 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    Best wishes,
