does anyone know what the highest PSA level is?
does anyone know what the highest PSA level is?
Hi
I’ve tried googling and it’s quite vague!
my husbands PSA was 120 on diagnosis and we thought that was high, but I have read about higher.
speak with your Clinical Nurse Specialist as she will have that knowledge.

had the meeting with the urologist who confirmed it was PSA > 20,000 and scan has shown multiple bone secondaries and retroperitoneal Lymphadenopathy
he said he has never come across anyone with such high levels of psa
Hi

My husbands has spread out of the prostate and to bones and lymph nodes.
He is on hormone treatment and just had 3 of 6 chemo treatments and his PSA is down to 2.3 in 3 months.

Good to hear your husbands psa is down to such a good level. May I ask did he have weight loss, and what his psa and prognosis was? I had water and blood tests, and have a bladder infection, and a PSA of 70. Sorry so many questions, as it's a worrying time.
Hi Pauly66
No he hasn’t had weight loss, in fact due to steroids the complete opposite. He is having to eat carefully and exercise more.
His PSA is down from 120 to 0.03 now.
6 cycles of chemo and then 20 Pallative Radiotherapy. Still looking well but the odd blip. Take care
Just had another blood test this past week and the psa has climbed to 1800+ Dont know what we do now
Hi Tenshan 46
My psa was first diagnosed 1500 February 2016. By March 1581 went onto hormone therapy (decapeptyl). Started chemo June (docetaxel) by July psa 41.
Last chemo September 2016 psa 0.9 kept going down to 0.03 Feb 2018. Last psa 2.2 Oct 2019 specialist wants to wait for psa to get back to 20 before more chemo.
