Prostrate cancer

Hi was diagnosed with prostrate cancer about twelve months ago stage T4 with a Gleason score of 4+5 have been on six monthly hormone injections after a recent psa level rise a daily tablet of casodex was added apart from tiredness and weight gain I feel fine I realise no one can predict what happens next anyone with similar conditions could share their experience forgot to say I am 68 years old

    Hi Birdboy,

    I too was diagnosed with prostate cancer about six and a half years ago My psa was 70 and my gleeson was 3+3. I have been very lucky and have made a good recovery. I also like you put on about 1 1/2 strone a just cant seem to lose it. I wish you well and hope the new tablet does the trick.
