I noticed your post hadn't had a response and wanted to just pop by and ask how your friend got on with her scan today. 

I hope that they were able to give her some reassurance about the bleed. Chemo can cause all sorts of side effects.

Hi Jenn,

Thank you so much for replying.  Actually her doc called her in to check her bloods yesterday and was happy with them, and the bleeding has stopped so she will have the ultrasound at the originally scheduled appointment (end of next week). Touch wood everything is ok. 

My friend is in China not in the UK - I'm hoping it is okay to ask for advice here when she is worried about something.  Her treatment regime ( Trastuzumab + Pertuzumab + Abraxane - 6 cycles at 3 week intervals) seems to be exactly the same as what is offered here.
