ive recently had my left kidney removed and experiencing sharp pain in my ribs . Is this normal?

My Mum had her Kidney removed many years ago and she suffered from stabbing pains in her side in fact she was convinced they had left a scalpel in there.
I would try and speak to your consultant or GP to get some reassurance.
