  • Hi Tony

I'm sending you a link to our information on chemotherapy side effects.

    You can find it here.

I wonder if you have had a chance to talk to your medical team about how you are feeling? They may be able to give you some anti-sickness medication.

I hope you feel better soon,

    Best wishes

  • Thanks evryone for your kind comments and advice. I had chemo yesterday and I had a really helpful nurse who listened to my problems with sickness and spoke straight away to a doctor who changed my antiemetics amd included steriods and touch wood, while i feel tired this morning there is very little nausea

or sickness. one other point can anyone explain the grading systems they use here in the uk I was copied into a letter to my gp with the following coding: pT3, N1,Ri distal cholongiogarcinoma. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks guys

  • Hi Tony,

Glad that things seem to have improved with this morning with the new medication.

I just wanted to let you know we've got some information here about stages of cancer that will hopefully help with your question but if you need further clarification then please do give our nurses a call and I'm sure they will be able to explain things. You can call them Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040 (free from a UK landline).

Hope you have a peaceful relaxing weekend!

    Best wishes,
