Possible cervical cancer?

Hi, I've been showing a lot of signs of Cervical Cance, such as vaginal bleeding, almost constantly for 2 months, I have a severe back pain in my right side, which is swollen and cause pain all down my right leg. I'm young so I didn't think I would be likely to have cervical cancer, but it happens.

I had a blood test and my results came back today, it's says that my CRP levels were abnormal and I have to retake the bloods in two weeks time. I wondered if this could possibly indicate Cervical cancer?

  • Hello Dbrose,

Welcome to our forum. Unfortunately no one here will be able to tell you more about what your results mean but I hope you will find out more soon from your doctor or specialist.

Waiting for results can be really stressful especially as you are having to retake your bloods in 2 weeks time which may delay things further for you.

The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious.

I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    Best wishes,
