We have some information on Polycythaemia Vera here but as there is nothing like sharing personal experiences, I do hope someone will be along soon who has also been living with polycythemia vera.

I have managed to dig up for you a thread which you may want to respond to as it was written only a few months ago by someone who was recently diagnosed  with polycythemia vera. You can read it here and don't hesitate to post a reply.
